Project background

Traditional Hong Kong stores are not just places of shopping — they are living symbols of the city's history, community spirit, and cultural identity. For generations, these Hong Kong stores have served as gathering spots, preserving local customs and oral histories. However, with urbanization and modernization, these stores have disappeared, and younger generations-especially children aged 6-12—have little opportunity to experience or understand their significance. Without active preservation, this valuable cultural heritage risks fading into obscurity

Concept

Through a mobile promotion vehicle themed around Hong Kong's nostalgic store, combined with cultural education activities and retro game experiences, this project aims to allow children to personally experience the atmosphere of traditional store, gain a deeper understanding of the history and value of Hong Kong's store culture, and preserve local cultural heritage.
