Until the “meow” comes

Navigating the teenage years can be challenging. Academic expectations and social relationships can all contribute to feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, and isolation. Mainly, teenagers should be offered a unique perspective to rethink their approach to dealing with these issues. The illustration book serves as a guided, relaxing journey on positive thinking. It is an adaptation from a small set of interviewees, reflecting teenagers’ relationship issues in school. As the protagonist observes the lifestyle and life attitudes demonstrated by the cat, she is now in the process of soul healing, eventually learning about positive ways to deal with different life problems. It is a personal gift by the author to teenagers, where the cat is meant as a fictional mentor to support them along the way.
