Relaxation is important in life. Although life is full of unexpected things, people need to learn to be calm to face the unexpected. Then, they will not be afraid. One way to help them relax is to stimulate the five senses.

The design of the three boards matches other characteristics of life which are full of ups and downs. Ladders and plates are used to perform the roads of life. Every step is chosen by participants and represents that the event may happen in life. This game simulates life and it acts like a rehearsal for teenagers aged 16 and 17, before they face reality. It is hoped that they can enjoy the moment of playing games and learn to be relaxed. It will cooperate with secondary schools to hold a graduation camp in Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp. The duration is about six hours.

There are four elements added in the board game.

1. Infographics are mainly used in the designs of three boards and five kinds of cards. Patterns and gradient colors are used for enhancing the interesting to attract the participants

2. Cards are divided into five kinds. They are money, mission, chance, proof and punishment. Part of the missions and punishments are coupled with the idea of five senses to simulate the challenges in their life

3. Pop-up cards are used as accessories for the board game. These can be chosen by themselves or throwing dice when they are on the related checkered

4. The shape of chess is a simulation of a cartoon character. Eight kinds of graphics are provided for creating participants’ own chess.

這三塊版圖的設計取樣自日常生活的特徵，充滿了跌宕起伏。梯子和板子則影射完成人生的道路，自己所選擇的每一步均是代表在生活上任何有可能發生的情況。模擬人生遊戲針對16歲至17歲的青少年，讓他們在面對現實社會前能進行彩排，享受遊戲的同時學會放鬆。遊戲將與中學合作，在保良局賽馬會大棠渡假村舉行畢業營時邀請學生參加，遊戲時長六個小時。

棋盤遊戲中主要有4個元素：

1. 資訊圖表用於三塊板圖和功能卡的設計，圖案和漸變色是為了增強趣味性來吸引參加者

2. 卡片為五種，包括：金錢、任務、機會、證明和懲罰。部份任務和懲罰卡與五種感官互相配合，模擬生活中所面對的挑戰

3. 立體卡作為棋盤遊戲的附件，當參加者到附有立體卡團的位置上，需作選擇或投擲骰子

4. 棋子以模擬卡通人物形狀所製成，提供8種圖案並各自有8種顏色，參加者可自行拼砌屬於自己的人物
