Pet owners look at their pet as a friend or family. When they first face pet loss, they will feel lonely, uneasy, and uncertain. I have had the same experience, and I wanted to draw a picture book for readers who are experiencing pet loss. The book’s name is After Saying Goodbye to You. The book shows my experiences and what might happen after pet loss. This book helps pet owners relieve negative emotions and remind them that we have other options in face of pet loss.

After Saying Goodbye to You will use the weight and texture of the physical book to make readers more deeply impressed with its content. It will bring out positive thinking, provide a place for emotional identification or relief for readers, and promote spiritual growth amidst adversity.

Earth tones are used to help readers feel comfortable and calm when facing pet loss. It reminds readers that pets just return to nature.

At the end of the book, there are Facebook and Instagram names for readers to share their questions. Let people think of the answer together. Moreover, they can share their letters to express emotions. Let their pets live in the hearts of more people.

寵物在主人眼中就像朋友或親人。當主人第一次面對寵物離世時 ，難免感到孤單、不安和疑惑。我亦經歷過同樣傷痛 ，所以借今次機會繪製了一本繪本，取名為《與你告別後》，為正在經歷寵物過身的讀者繪製。目的是通過分享本人經歷，告訴他們寵物死後可能遇到的事情。幫助他們舒緩負面情緒，並提醒他們面對寵物離世的悲傷時，還有其他選擇去面對，避免鑽牛角尖。

《與你告別後》會利用實體書的重量、手感等要素，讓讀者對內容留下更深刻的印象。為讀者帶出面對寵物過身時的正面思維。

提供情緒認同與紓解的地方，在他們面對逆境時，提供正向思考，促進心靈成長。

在顏色上，亦採用大地色系為主，為求讓讀者舒服、平靜面對寵物的離去。提醒讀者，寵物只是回歸自然，塵歸塵，土歸土的事實。

最後，書附有Facebook和Instagram專頁名稱，讓讀者分享特別的問題，集思廣益。讓大家一齊回答，以及分享讀者寫給寵物的信，抒發感受，並讓讀者的寵物活在更多人心裏面，讓讀者的愛得以延續。
