This art installation represents my desire for freedom. The cloth passing through the window symbolises being trapped in a confined space and yearning for escape. Through this artwork, I aim to explore the human desire for freedom and encourage viewers to contemplate life’s various limitations and constraints. A stick should be typically straight lines, but their irregular arrangement creates flowing curves that generate visual conflict. The cloth should be light enough to float in the air. Still, I intentionally chose an exaggerated approach by using numerous dense and rigid sticks to mimic the texture of the fabric’s fibres, introducing contrasting elements of softness and hardness. This unusual aesthetic adds extra tension and contradiction to the artwork.

這件藝術裝置代表了我對自由的渴望。穿過窗戶的布象徵著我被困於狹小空間，渴望掙脫逃離的視覺隱喻。透過作品，我旨在探索人類對自由的渴望，鼓勵觀眾思考生活中存在的各種局限與約束。膠棒本應是筆直的線條，經過不規則的排列，營造出流動感的曲線，引發視覺衝突。布料本應輕盈得可漂浮於空中，但我選擇了使用誇張的手法，以大量密密麻麻且堅硬的膠棒模仿布料的纖維質感，增加了柔軟和堅硬的對立元素，這不尋常的美感為作品增添了額外的張力與矛盾。
