This project is called Un-formulating Aesthetic. It is about the evolution of humankind.

The sense of aesthetic reflects the social value of a generation and society. Everyone on earth have different sense on aesthetic and art. It changes by the values and environment. Everything becomes the own thoughts and build the values of each. The individuality, uniqueness and aesthetic sense are embraced in the project.

The education scheme in Hong Kong focused on the examination. Everyone is graded and classified into different category, and into a hierarchical system. The system is formulated. The possibility of future is narrowed if the society only asks for model answers.

The project aims to present an experience of different style of sense. The outcome is put in a suitcase with a 21 x 21 book, poster print outs, and an identity card. A different style of design is used to bring out the story of “Moon Side Story,” which is about the main character who joins an interview of applying Moon side officer. The book records the process and story about it by using design.

It is believed that the importance of maintaining individuality, uniqueness and aesthetic sense influences society. Therefore, every style and thought was equally valued in the project as the aim is to embrace the three elements.

每個人都有觀察世界的角度，這會因應不同人出身和成長而異，並構成不同人的審美觀念和獨立思維。可是，若一個社會中的人只具備服從的能力和隨波逐流的本能，將會是站在歷史洪流中故步自封的行為。現今社會，

盡是要求標準答案的世界。例如教育系統中的考試測驗所期望的不外乎是考生如何達到評分標準，又例如不同課題的作業最終都會由上級者評分再排優劣。

「解美學程式」旨在歌頌人類的獨特性、自主性和審美觀。人類的可能性如天地無垠，十人十色，美感如是。

「解美學程式」的主要成品是一本 21 x 21 釐米的書，書中包含風格各異的設計作風，利用單頁為方形的形狀帶來不同的觀賞視覺體驗，以設計帶出故事「月面記事」，推薦觀者自決閱讀故事的角度。故事內容講述主角正參與一場面試，為應徵成為月面檢察官，書中道出主角在面試中遇到的試煉和風景。希望突顯每人都擁有其獨特審美，審美的優劣之別該憑自己心之所往而非他人三言兩語。因主宰自身思想的最終會是自己。除此之外，成品包括海報、檢察官名片、行李箱等等，以完善「月面記事」的世界觀。
