The Hong Kong society has always had prejudice against women’s body shape. It causes many of them to have severe anxiety and depression about their bodies. Most of them do not like their body image because of behavioral cognitive impairment of body image. Their abnormal behavior includes frequent small meals, intermittent fasting, vegetarianism, and doing exercise, etc. This study tries to provide self-help and self-care professional therapy to three behaviours. In addition to psychological assessments for relevant people, it also provides them with entry-level and time-limited psychological treatment methods: body meditation therapy, and encourages them to actively practice in daily life to check their own thoughts, and practices how to deal with emotional problems. In the end, through active self-control behaviors: including their thoughts, behaviors and emotions, women (especially those with eating disorders or body image disorders) could accept their bodies unconditionally and accept this as their unique beauty, and finally to encourage their mind of body positivity.

香港社會對女性的體型一直存在偏見,不少香港女性對自己的身體產生強烈的焦慮感。少食多餐、斷食法、素食和做運動等等行為的本源來自於人們對自身外形的不喜歡而所產生的行為認知障礙。本研究提供自助式的專業治療的輔助層面,除了為相關人士進行心理評估之外,亦提供較為入門級及有時限性的心理治療技巧或方法——身體冥想治療法,並鼓勵他們主動於日常生活中練習,自主監察自己的想法和練習對情緒的處理。最終希望透過積極性的自我控制行為——思想,行為及情緒,讓女性們(特別是飲食失調症患者或身體意象障礙患者)能夠無條件地接受自己的身體,接受這就是她們的美麗,最終能夠對自身身體產生積極性。
