What scientists define “life” is all about the progress from simplicity to complexity. A simple square box always leaves us a rigid impression because it should match along with a lid in fixed size and shape. What will happen when such regularity meets randomness? To inject vitality into the boxes, I tried to close the lids unfittingly and arrange them like the sea or a valley alike. Although nobody is perfect at all, everybody gets their own specialty to work together and are able to create a beautiful picture like “wave”.
「生命」被現今科學界定義為「簡單到複雜的進程」。一個平平無奇的正方盒總要配搭一個對應的蓋,不太靈活的尺寸令人感到其形象板滯,看似跟「生命」沒有掛勾。雖則個體看似刻板,但誰料有瑕疵的盒子也能堆砌一片汪洋或是連綿山谷,彷彿讓這種千篇一律重獲新生。這種「不完美的展示」也提醒我們—人浮於世做事雖非盡如人意,但所謂「尺有所短,寸有所長」,每個人只要努力地做好自己部份都可以拼湊出美麗的境象。
